Properties  of  Matter

Properties of matter are very extensive.The properties of matter are divided into physical properties and Chemical properties.Physical properties are subdivided into intensive and extensive. While chemical properties have no sub division.A physical property  is  any characteristic that can be determined without changing the substance chemical formulation. Intensive properties are properties that do not depend on the amount of matter present, while extensive properties are properties that do depend on the amount of matter present. And finally chemical  properties are any characteristic that can be determined only by changing a substance molecular formulation.
